It was a beautiful fall day in Minnesota. The sky was bright blue, the weather was cool but comfortable and the leaves had blanketed the ground. A perfect day to go pick out a pumpkin and take Luca to the park. He absolutely loved it! We sat him on the ground and his attention was on everything. He grabbed and felt the grass, he stared at the leaves in the trees, and sat with his pumpkin. In fact, he was so interested in everything else, he barely noticed the pumpkin! After a while, he did see the big orange vegetable sitting in front of him and he stared at it, touched it, grabbed for it, and tried to eat it. It was absolutely amazing watching my 5 month old son experience the outdoors with such awe and fascination. We stayed for a long time, taking pictures and looking at the leaves, until it got too chilly and we had to head home.
