Yes...again. He's been sick since February 10th. Not all those days were home bound and miserable, but he was diagnosed with an ear infection on February 10th and placed on antibiotics. Those meds didn't work and he then had a double ear infection on February 15th. So, he was on a different antibiotic. He finished those on the 24th and on the 26th came down with influenza, which then led into another ear infection on March 2nd. We started yet another course of antibiotics, which we just ended on Saturday the 11th. One day later and he's got a 101 fever and is coughing. We took him to his pediatrician (we had an appt anyway to check his ears), but his ears and lungs look good. His throat is red and raw though, so another virus...
This is getting soooo old. For Luca and for us. I just can't believe how much this poor little thing has had to endure. He has no idea what it's like to be healthy for an entire month. Lucky for us, he is an absolute angel sick or not sick and not much seems to phase him. Unless his temp goes over 104 (which it has several times), he plays like normal and is happy and silly. Hopefully as the weather warms up, his immune system can start to mature and heal. :(
