We've had a really hard time getting Luca to eat table food, or if he does, he won't pick it up himself. We tried plain pasta for two nights in a row and all he did was make a face and spit it out. I thought, maybe he likes things with flavor? He is, after all, the baby who wouldn't eat applesauce until it had cinnamon in it. So, tonight I tried macaroni with marinara sauce and he LOVED it! He ate it easily for me and then started eating it on his own too. We've never had such a messy meal, but it was so worth it! It was great to see him enjoy it so much and want to eat by himself.
