Nana and Papa

We had a wonderful visit with my parents this weekend. Luca did really well on the car ride. We are constantly amazed at how easily he sits still in the car for such a long time, when at home he doesn't stop moving. He just looks around, sleeps, and plays with his toys. Such a good bear!!

This is the BEST book ever!

Taking a break from the car seat (at a rest stop, of course!)

Luca said "Papa" for the first time - very cute!! Kind of like "pop-pop". He also was a mad man, crawling everywhere, exploring and getting into everything. I am so glad our house is not that big! We tried to see if he'd go up the stairs, but he had no clue what to do. I suppose that's a good thing.

This is my "pop-pop"

We also enjoyed some absolutely beautiful warm weather. It was in the 70's on Sunday and Monday. Luca had so much fun crawling outside for the first time. No fear at all! Crawled onto the grass, down the driveway, chased the leaves, and got some help walking from his Nana. (And the red cheeks aren't from the sun - he had a 102 degree fever that day.)

But no visit to Nana and Papa's would be complete without a sick Bear. On Sunday, Luca developed a stomach bug and fever. We decided to stay one more night, since he was in no shape to travel. The only good thing about Luca being sick is our snuggle time.
