We bought our new camera on the way to the apple orchard but forgot that the battery wouldn't be charged. :( So, on our way 40 minutes south of the city, we discovered we would have no pictures of the day.
It was so fun though! A beautiful October day - 70's and sunny, with a nice breeze. Avery got to ride in the carrier facing out for the first time and loved it! She was smiling and cooing and several people stopped to comment on how happy she was. Luca wore himself out. They had tractors to ride on, a hay pile to jump in, pony rides, train rides, wagon rides, a petting zoo, a giant slide, tricycles on a track, swings, and so much more. We could have easily stayed there all day. Finally, we picked out the perfect pumpkin on the way out.
On our way home, mommy was going too fast and was pulled over by the police for the first time in 10 years. Luca thought it was quite funny that "mommy go too fast, police man say you're in trouble!" Luckily, because we were a family going home after a day at the apple orchard (and my clean record) I got off with a warning. He mentioned too that it was because my kids were buckled in appropriately, but they're still so little! Of course they're buckled in. :)
So, that was our day. Hopefully we will carve a pumpkin tomorrow and have beautiful pictures to show from it!

Well sadly you know that cop has probably pulled over plenty of folks who DON'T have their kiddos restrained properly! Good job mama! And congrats on the great new camera. Your pumpkins are as cute as ever!
