Happy Halloween! This has been one of the best Halloweens I can remember. I love Halloween at school - especially all the toddler costumes - which I always think are the cutest. Luca is old enough now to 'understand' more about what's going on and it was fun to watch him take in all the costumes and traditons. Avery was super cute in Luca's old Bear costume and we all had a BLAST trick or treating!! We went out right before dusk and Luca learned how to go house to house, say trick or treat, and Happy Halloween! He loved running to the door and ringing the bell (and trying to open the door himself...) He also would gladly grab a huge handfull of candy and before long was saying "I like candy! More houses!" :-)
After getting home well after dark and their normal bedtime, Luca got to experience the tradition of dumping out all his candy and picking the one he wanted before bed. Luckily for us, he chose animal cookies. Haha. Good thing, since he's never had a candy bar.
