Leaves

Luca headed into the bathroom this evening, announcing as he always does, "I have to pee!" As I quietly waited for him to return, I heard him say "I made a leaf!" with great awe and excitement in his voice.

"What?!" I replied.

"I made a leaf mommy!" I couldn't figure out what he was talking about, so I got up and walked into the bathroom. There, in the potty, was a big maple leaf. I started laughing and couldn't stop. Luca looked up at me and grinned. "I pooped a leaf mommy!"
